Submit an Intake Request Form: Visit our website and locate the “Request an Appointment” form. Complete all required fields to provide us with the necessary information.
Await Confirmation: Once your request is received, our administrative team will review the information and reach out to you to confirm we have received your form and discuss next steps of scheduling.

An intake appointment at Wellsprings Counseling Group is the first step in your therapeutic journey. During this hour long session, you will meet with one of our counselors who will guide you through the process of understanding your needs and goals for therapy.
You will be encouraged to discuss your current concerns, personal history, and any relevant background information. This includes details about your mental health history, any past therapeutic experiences, and support systems in your life.
The counselor will explain confidentiality, provide an overview of the counseling process, and answer any questions you may have. Together, you will develop a plan tailored to your individual needs, which may include identifying goals for therapy and outlining potential next steps.
This appointment is an opportunity for you to share your story in a safe and supportive environment, allowing the counselor to gain a comprehensive understanding of how best to support you moving forward.

We accept a majority of Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. If you are employed by the state of Tennessee and have Optum mental health benefits, we can assist you with filing your claims.
Please note that we are out-of-network for BlueCare/TennCare and Medicare. All other insurance plans are also considered out-of-network.

By Phone: Call our office at 423-587-9339. Speak to one of our staff members to request your cancellation.
Through the Client Portal: Log in to the Client Portal and navigate to the appointment section. Look for the option to request a cancellation and follow the prompts.
Please be aware that cancellation fees will be applied if notice is not given at least 24-hours prior to your appointment. Additionally, fees will also apply for missed appointments or no-shows. If you have any questions regarding our cancellation policy, feel free to contact us.

Payment for the intake session is required at the time of scheduling. For all subsequent sessions, payment is due at the time of the appointment. We accept cash, checks, and credit or debit cards.
Clients can conveniently view their billing information through the "Client Portal." This platform allows you to access detailed statements and account balances at any time. In addition to viewing your billing, you can also make payments directly within the portal.
